There are a group of artist that have a special talent like; Horatio Altuna, Nilo Manara, Erich Von Götha.

Nothing is better than the real thing! But what are you going to do with the rest of the 99.9% of our time? Think about it, talk and dream about it, I suppose. Feast your eyes on cartoons, storing up the sexual energy for that Real Thing. You are making love to your wife, girlfriend and acquaintance? Think again! You are emptying the reservoir of pent-up sexual energy that the comic artist instilled in you. Especially men, so visually oriented. It is said that in men there is a direct connection from their eyeballs to their testicles, that never need to be reroute through the brain at all. That is why we can react without context to any sexual stimulus.

This would argue for Van Gotha, whose heroines and heroes are always ready, awash in tides of come, but still my vote goes for Manara, who is interested in the chase, the capture, the often unwilling participation, compelled to sexual fulfillment. In a head-to-head race, Sophie against Claudia, Twenty against Honey (of Butterscotch1), who would win??? We, the readers of course.

Riverstone I have not figured out yet, if I ever will. He seems to have a few unresolved issues left. Or is he, like a good salesman, feeding us what we would want to see? Have to ask Chloe that, or Thamara.

In the end it all depends on my mood, the flavor of the moment. Today I feel the need for Serpieri, or perhaps a little Meadows. Luckily I have them already in my collection.

All the same, my next vote would go for Convent of Hell by Noe. How is that for a sensitive choice? I have it in small print already and would like dearly to upgrade it.

It still amazes me how many of the members sit there with zero things to say. But I am gratified to see so many different flags of the world in the members list.

Solano Lopez: for the exquisite precision of his artistry and his uncompromising sexuality

Manara: for the delicacy of his lines and body gestures; tapped into every man’s fantasy; where could I get a control box like that? or the disappearing cream.? Huh?

Von Gotha: Does anybody know Sophie’s address or Twenty’s telephone number??

Serpieri: Can anybody draw a female body more appetizing than him? though I find the story line a little on the dark side.

Riverstone: his drawings are pure emotions rendered in full, living color

Altuna: for his expressive, fine feeling drawings and intelligent humor, in 12 frames or less. Glad to see Cat though.
